"New Era, Heart Dream, Mental Health" - a series of mental health activities for international students was successfully held



为进一步加强国际学生心理健康教育,促进科学文化素养同身心健康协调发展,帮助他们缓解因学习、考试、交友、跨文化交际等压力,以积极阳光的心态完成学业。留学生教育管理中心于2023年5月20日至6月1日开展了主题为“新时代,心梦想,心健康”的国际学生心理健康系列活动。
In order to further strengthen the mental health education of international students, promote the coordinated development of scientific and cultural literacy with physical and mental health, help them relieve the pressure of studying, exams, making friends, cross-cultural communication and so on, and complete their studies with a positive and sunny attitude. From May 20 to June 1, 2023, the International Student Education Management Center launched a series of activities on the mental health of international students with the theme of "New Era, Heart Dream, Mental Health".


5月20日在南湖留学生活动室,制作中国结和彩绘石膏娃娃 “我手绘我心”的活动吸引了30余名国际学生参加。在DIY中国结的环节中,学生们了解了中国结的历史文化,体验了手工制作的乐趣;在彩绘石膏娃娃的环节中,国际学生们用彩笔为石膏娃娃涂上各种颜色,创造出属于自己独一无二的作品,同时手工制作的过程释放了压力。这不仅是一种创造性的体验,也是一种放松身心的方式。
On May 20, in the activities room of Nanhu International Students, the activity of making Chinese knot and painted plaster doll "I paint My Heart" attracted more than 30 international students to participate. In the DIY Chinese knot, the students learned about the history and culture of Chinese knot and experienced the fun of handmade; In the plaster doll painting session, the international students used crayons to paint the plaster doll in various colors, creating their own unique work, while the handmade process released pressure. It is not only a creative experience, but also a way to relax.
5月25日下午驻楼辅导员为国际学生开展了心理健康教育团辅活动。活动由心理团辅、解压故事分享会和观影体验三个部分组成。
On the afternoon of May 25, the resident counsellor conducted a mental health education group for international students. The activity consists of three parts: psychological group help, decompression story sharing session and movie viewing experience.






辅导员通过“经历风雨 始见彩虹——做好压力管理”主题的心理团辅,普及心理健康教育知识,让国际学生学习消除心理困扰和释放负面情绪的方法,引导学生积极面对留学生活中产生的各种压力和挫折,真正了解和重视心理健康。活动中发放了解压球等一些游戏小物件,帮助学生有效应对和缓解紧张情绪,达到放松和自我治疗的目的。
Counselors through the theme of "Go through the storm to see the rainbow --Do a good job in stress management", popularize the knowledge of mental health education, so that international students can learn to eliminate psychological distress and release negative emotions, guide students to actively face various pressures and setbacks in study abroad life, and truly understand and pay attention to mental health. In the activity, some small game objects such as stress relief balls were distributed to help students effectively cope with and relieve tension, and achieve the purpose of relaxation and self-treatment.
组织解压故事分享会,邀请在场的同学分享来华学习生活的故事和自己应对压力的方法。给同学们提供一个表达感情的机会,让他们学会聆听他人,并敢于向他人诉说,在国际学生们进行融入式互动的过程中,进一步增加感情,传递心灵正能量,实现自我帮助的实践探索。
Organize a story sharing meeting, and invite the students present to share their stories of study and life in China and their own ways to cope with pressure. To provide students with an opportunity to express their feelings, so that they can learn to listen to others, and dare to tell others, in the process of integrated interaction, international students can further increase their feelings, transfer the positive energy of the soul, and realize the practical exploration of self-help.





静享夏日的时光



通过观看电影《心灵捕手》,让学生们体会到男主角是如何在老师和朋友的帮助下,重新找到自我,经历了从不健康到积极健康心理状态的过程。观影后,学生们纷纷表示了解到了健康心灵的重要性,以及应对压力保持心理健康的正确方式。
By watching the movie "Good Will Hunting", students can experience how the hero finds himself again with the help of teachers and friends, and goes through the process from unhealthy to positive and healthy mental state. After watching the film, the students said they understood the importance of a healthy mind and the correct way to maintain mental health in response to stress.
5月27日周六晚,30余名国际学生在南湖校参加了健康荧光跑活动。这项活动旨在鼓励学生们参与户外运动,增强身体素质和提高免疫力。当晚,来自不同国家的留学生们穿上运动装备,在银河国际6668888李理副院长的带领下,沿着南湖校区外围畔徜徉奔跑。活动设置了应急处理和志愿者服务站,确保参与者的安全和舒适。此外,参与者们喜闻乐见的配备上了荧光棒等装备,让整个活动更加丰富有趣。荧光棒的光芒在黑暗中闪烁,为夜跑增添了一份神秘和活力。参与者们在夜色中穿行奔跑,形成了一道靓丽的风景线,吸引了很多师生前来观看和加入。
On the evening of Saturday 27 May, more than 30 international students participated in the Health Fluorescent Run at Nanhu School. This activity aims to encourage students to participate in outdoor sports, enhance physical fitness and improve immunity. In the evening, international students from different countries put on sports equipment and ran along the perimeter of Nanhu campus under the leadership of Li Li, vice president of the School of International Education. Emergency treatment and volunteer service stations were set up to ensure the safety and comfort of participants. In addition, the participants were happily equipped with equipment such as glow sticks, which made the whole activity more interesting. The glow of the glow stick flickers in the dark, adding a mystery and vitality to the night run. The participants ran through the night, forming a beautiful landscape, attracting many teachers and students to watch and join.
夜跑结束后,参与者们兴高采烈地进行了合影留念,分享自己在夜跑中的喜悦和收获,表达了对学院举办此类活动的感激之情,前十名跑完全程的学生还获得了精美的奖品。
After the night run, the participants happily took a group photo to share their joy and harvest in the night run, expressing their gratitude to the college for holding such activities, and the first ten students who finished the whole run won exquisite prizes.




留学生教育管理中心联合校心理健康教育中心于6月1日下午在南湖留学生活动室开展了一场“情绪管理和压力应对”的主题讲座,30余名国际学生参加。
In the afternoon of June 1st, the International Student Education Management Center and the Mental Health Education Center of the University held a theme lecture on "Emotional Management and stress coping" in the Nanhu International Student Activity Room. More than 30 international students participated in the lecture.
校心理健康教育中心专职教师李竹老师通过情绪与压力心理学理论和美国心理学家埃利斯的ABC模型,从专业的角度介绍了坏情绪和压力产生的原因,让学生们充分认识到人的情绪和压力是在面对未知领域和目标的过程中产生的,可以用科学正确的方法去管理和控制的。提问环节,国际学生积极参与,互相交流,纷纷发表自己的困惑和对心理健康问题的看法,李竹老师逐一进行回复,既有理解与共情,又有专业观点和方法的指导建议,让国际学生获益匪浅。
Ms. Li Zhu, a full-time teacher of the school's Mental Health Education Center, introduced the causes of bad mood and pressure from a professional perspective through the psychological theory of emotion and pressure and the ABC model of American psychologist Ellis, so that students fully realized that people's emotions and pressure are generated in the process of facing unknown fields and goals, and can be managed and controlled with scientific and correct methods. During the questioning session, international students actively participated, exchanged with each other, and expressed their confusion and views on mental health issues. Teacher Li Zhu responded one by one, with understanding and empathy, as well as guidance and suggestions of professional views and methods, which benefited international students a lot.
本次“新时代,心梦想,心健康”——国际学生心理健康系列活动的顺利开展,全面普及了心理健康知识,提升了心理健康意识,为国际学生提供了一个良好的社交平台,丰富了课余生活,让他们更好地融入校园生活。同时引导国际学生关爱自我,了解自我,接纳自我,树立正确的心理健康观,为校内外师生提供了一种健康、积极、有益的参与方式。
The successful development of the "New Era, Heart Dream, Mental Health" series of international students' mental health activities has fully popularized mental health knowledge, enhanced mental health awareness, provided a good social platform for international students, enriched their extracurricular life, and allowed them to better integrate into campus life. At the same time, it guides international students to care for themselves, understand themselves, accept themselves, and establish a correct mental health concept, which provides a healthy, positive and beneficial way of participation for teachers and students inside and outside the school.
留学生教育管理中心还将一如既往的为国际学生提供全方位的服务和支持,包括心理健康方面的关注和帮扶,助力国际学生更好地适应海外学习和生活。
The International Student Education Management Center will continue to provide international students with a full range of services and support, including mental health care and assistance, to help international students better adapt to overseas study and life.
